 I'm not saying this to be pretentious or show off, but rather to tell you that location should be at the top of your list when choosing a new place to live. I wanted to find a job where I would make enough money to buy food and live comfortably, but also have room for leisure activities such as hiking and camping. My first few months were spent living with my parents until I could save up enough money to rent an apartment. I found an apartment near downtown that allowed pets and had reasonable prices. It was great because I had more space than when I lived with my parents, plus being so close to downtown made commuting easy!
